On a rainy autumn day, where the leaves slowly changed their colors, I visited the Japanese Garden in The Hague. Raindrops fell on the leaves, creating a calming effect. Located on the idyllic Clingendael Estate, this garden offers an oasis of peace and beauty amidst the seasonal changes.
In the Museum Beelden aan Zee, located on the coast of Scheveningen, a special exhibition is currently showcasing the renowned English sculptor Henry Moore (1898-1986). The exhibition highlights the influence of nature on his work and the evolution he underwent as a skilled sculptor. With a focus on form and material, visitors have the opportunity to experience Moore’s masterpieces up close. Running until October 22, 2023, the exhibition is a prime opportunity to acquaint yourself with the sculptor’s work.
